RESIST

Liberty & Justice For All

We formed our three Door County Chapters after the presidential election.   Indivisible Door County is based on the strong progressive values of the national Indivisible Movement and rooted within an inclusive and respectful vision of our country.  We further stand for truth and ethics guiding our work and our world.

Today our total number of advocates is over 350 persons.  Unbelievable when one considers that we started with 32 folks meeting in a livingroom on February 7, 2017 to resist the Trump agenda.

We believe standing together is the best way of getting our elected representatives to listen to our concerns.  We also believe that direct action and involvement will lead to changes within our country, our state, and our local community.  We encourage our members to call, email or text congressional representatives, state representatives, and national elected officials.  We believe in encouraging meetings with our congressional representatives and their staff to help them to understand our concerns and points of view.  We organize postcard events, letters to the editor, marches, or other events that will showcase our points of view.

As we look to the future, we are meeting with candidates all across the state who may be running on a progressive platform and finding how we can support them in their efforts to get elected to office in the future.
