We have a Wisconsin Supreme Court election coming up on Tuesday, April 7th. This 10 year term will shape the future of Wisconsin, as the Wisconsin Supreme Court will likely hear cases about gerrymandering, voting rights, women’s access to healthcare, the climate crisis and more.
Judge Jill Karofsky is running to fill this seat. She is currently a Dane County Circuit Judge. Throughout her career she has shown her commitment to justice and to fair independent courts. Judge Karofsky believes in good public education, protecting our environment and racial justice. She is a defender of civil rights, constitutional rights and women’s and worker’s rights. Jill pledges to uphold the Constitution and the rule of law in her courtroom every day.
Two Door County Judges are endorsing Judge Karofsky : Judge Todd Ehlers and Retired Judge Peter Diltz. She has endorsements from hundreds of judges, attorneys and sheriffs and local elected officials and community leaders.
Let’s protect our democracy and don’t forget to vote down ballot for Jill Karofsky on April 7th. If we want the Wisconsin Supreme Court to uphold the rule of law and be nonpartisan and not pander to special interests, we need to vote for Judge Jill Karofsky.
